# Training yourself to use Photoshop
When you decide to switch from using Photoshop Elements to Photoshop, it can be a big decision. But you don’t have to start over. In this section, I describe how to adjust your working habits to make the transition easier and how to master the programs’ various features.
First, try to keep working habits similar to the way they were in Photoshop Elements, so that, for example, most commands that you were accustomed to doing in Elements continue to work in Photoshop. For example, if you set the Origin pull-down menu in Photoshop Elements (see the next section) to Center (see Figure 7-5) and then dragged an image from another program into Photoshop, the image would have its Center point set to the correct position. However, this doesn’t work in Photoshop.
**Figure 7-5:** In Photoshop you can place the Origin pull-down menu at a specific point on the image’s canvas.
To make this work, if you’re starting with an image open in Photoshop, you need to set the Origin pull-down menu to Anywhere. Otherwise, when you drag the image from another program, it’ll appear at the bottom-center of the image, with the bottom-center coordinates of the image selected.
I’m sure you know this type of tip by heart, but just in case you don’t, I mention it here so you don’t have to search for it.
You can also adjust the settings in a tool window. So after you place a tool in the Toolbox, you can set the tool’s options to the way you need them. To do this, select the tool and then click the Options button (the one that looks like a gear) in the tool’s properties bar, as shown in Figure 7-6.
**Figure 7-6:** Adjust tool options via the Options button.
Here’s a list of the various options, from which you can select the ones you want:
* **Opacity:** Select this option to increase or decrease the opacity of the image.
* **Blend If:** This option allows you to adjust the weight of the selected color values when you blend an image to another one. By decreasing this value, you increase the weight

Some methods for getting rid of the snow on a photo will only be half-successful, if the snow in your pictures isn’t the accurate shade of yellow. To get the true color, you’ll want to take a screenshot, mark the snow, and then use one of the many Photoshop tools that can accurately spot and change the color.
There are a number of ways to remove an unwanted snow image from a landscape in Photoshop. You can use Photoshop’s Highlight and Shadow features, Photoshop’s other editing tools, or other free, or low-cost, online tools. Let’s look at the different ways you can remove a bright white snow image.
Step 1: Using Photoshop Highlight and Shadow
The first way to remove a snow image involves using Photoshop’s Highlight and Shadow features. If you remember your high school science, color is made up of three types of light: red, blue, and green. For any given color, yellow is the result of mixing a little bit of red, a little bit of green, and a lot of blue. In a picture, a snow color is due to a lot of blue and a little bit of green. To make this snow yellow, you’d use Photoshop’s Shadow and Highlight features:
Open the image in Photoshop by clicking on the file in the left column of the main file window.
Make sure the image has an alpha channel (a background layer) and click on the “Add a New Layer” button in the Layers panel.
Click on the channel in the Layers panel to which you want to apply a white background.
Click on the white fill color square (it should be the only color) in the Layers panel.
Click on the Highlight button (it looks like a little + sign) in the Layers panel.
Click on the snow image in the image window (make sure it is on a separate layer from the background).
Click on the Shadow button (it looks like a little – sign) in the Layers panel.
This creates a new white layer with a shadow image.
Click on the background color in the Layers panel, and select the color you want from the color picker.
Your image should look like this:
Step 2: Removing the Snow with Photoshop’s Blur and Erase Tools
Let’s take a look at a method for removing a snow image from a scene.

Belly (Jebediah song)
“Belly” is a song written and performed by country music artist Jebediah. It was released in February 2011 as the first single from his album American Old West, which features songs about the American west. The song is frequently heard on Sirius XM’s The Highway.
“Belly” is a mid-tempo song about a man who has found his one true love and wishes that she was his wife. He tells her that he will be true to her for the rest of his life. He then starts singing about how “the woman of my dreams has a wonderful belly”, and asks her, “Would you like it if I took you to dinner at the Golden Nugget tonight?”.
Billy Dukes of Taste of Country gave the song a favorable review, calling it one of the best country songs of the 2010s. Kevin John Coyne of Country Universe gave the song an A grade, calling it “a beautiful song with a truly surprising chorus”, and “a reminder of how important it is to be kind to each other.”
The music video was directed by Justin Lader and premiered in April 2011. It is a montage of scenes from the life of Jebediah, filmed by himself. The video ends with a final, shot-in-reverse-slow-motion shot of Jebediah in the desert.
“Belly” debuted at number 48 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated for the week ending February 6, 2011. It also debuted at number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has since peaked at number 51 on the Hot 100, and 20 on Hot Country Songs.

The rough framing is then completed with a supporting member in the form of a steel strip welded to the beam. This steel strip is generally in the form of a large steel strip which is rolled to an approximate diameter of 2 feet and is rolled to a width of up to 12 inches. This steel strip is then mounted between the wooden beams on wooden battens which are secured to the beams by nails

The relationship between communication and survival rate of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) treated with radiotherapy.
The relationship between communication and survival rate of NPC patients was investigated. A total of 587 patients who were newly diagnosed with NPC and treated by radiotherapy alone were included in this study. The patients were divided into two groups: Nuchal communication (NC) group and non-nuchal communication (NNC) group. The 3-, 5- and 10-year survival rates were 90.3, 77.6 and 63.4%, respectively, in the NC group and 87.6, 71.9 and 54.1% in the NNC group. The median survival times were 59.6 and 64.5 months in the NC and NNC group, respectively. The results of the multivariate analyses showed that age, sex and radiotherapy volume were independent prognostic factors. The fact that the survival rates and the median survival times were longer in the NC group than the NNC group suggests that these patients have an improved response to radiotherapy.Q:
Manually install Python package from source
I want to install package by myself.
I follow below command but there is an error for many Python packages
pip install git+
pip install git+
pip install git+
Error message shown is below
pip install git+
Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement git+ (from versions: )
No matching distribution found for git+
How can I install package?
You can use the -U (–upgrade) flag to pip in order to upgrade it to a newer version, so you can install a newer version (which is certainly required by PyGithub).
You can use the –pre flag in order to install a specific version (if you want to install a specific version or tag, if available).
You can try with:
pip install git+ -U
