I have recently seen the TV show “Mr. Robot”. The idea of the show revolves around an idea of using a custom developed operating system/platform on computers that are currently in use and developed using older/legacy operating systems.
The main question I have is how would the device that is used to receive a specific broadcast over the internet be configured? All I can think of are having one website that is used to match a username/password to a device but this would be a large array of username/password combinations.
Am I missing something and is this a novel idea?

Possible options are:

Have the first thing users do on your site be register their device.
Have the users create accounts on the website.
Have a way for the users to register through a third-party site (i.e. using Google Voice) and have the user re-confirm the registration when they come back to your site.
Have an app on the device. The device keeps the user’s account, and all of the user’s data is stored in the device itself rather than in the server. Then the app can contact the server if the user wants to.

Many of my images are packed in folders. Sometimes, I’d like to have them organized by the subject instead. For example, if I have 2 pictures of cats, I want to pick them up and group them together.
Is there any way to select multiple photos and group them together?

I use Lightroom’s “select multiple” feature like this:
