I custom cut most gemstones including the Montana Sapphires. I carry very some inventory, but I cut most gemstones from established patterns that create great beauty. Below are patterns that I cut and a table that shows the stone type and patterns I cut for each stone type. Some gemstones are smaller and patterns may not show up well. Some patterns are specific to larger stones because of the dispersion quality or the depth of color saturation. Please inquire for any questions.

Yes there is care for gemstones! Sapphires are hard and last a lifetime in rings. However, Sunstones are about as hard as quartz. Opal is softer. These stones should be mounted in rings that protect the edges-girdles of the stone. Better for pendants. One piece of advice take the chain off and put the jewelry piece in a small plastic bag. It will keep the piece from tarnishing and keep the stone in perfect condition (the chain can rub on stone).
